AMV Hellberg Moberg, originally from rural western Sweden, has spent a good few decades roaming the globe, with London, United Kingdom as her permanent base since the early 1990s. Writing as Anna Maria Espsäter, she worked as a freelance travel journalist and guidebook author for many years before branching out into fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry. In addition to writing and journalism, she gives talk and does live storytelling events for adults. She is multilingual and writes/gives talks in English, Swedish and Spanish.

When she isn’t writing, she can often be found cross-country skiing, ice-skating, spending quality time with cats, trying to pick up tricky languages or cooking something delicious from far-flung corners of the world.
